WPA2 To Become Requirement For Wi-Fi Certification

By spring of next year, the Wif-Fi Alliance will be requiring all equipment that is to be Wi-Fi Certified include WPA2 support.
This is a good thing. It forces manufacturers to stay current with the latest security standards if they want certification. I don't think we would have the anywhere near the same level of WPA adoption today if the Wi-Fi Alliance hadn't been requiring it since late 2003.
